Any time you are using a direct quote that is 40 words or longer you need to use the block quote format. You don't use quotation marks to distinguish the quote, instead, when the quote starts, add a line break and indent all lines of the quote one half inch on the left side. Include the page number in parentheses at the end of the quote, but unlike most in-text citations, it will come after the punctuation. See this link below for some great examples.
