In order to remove the words "Running head" from the other pages in Microsoft Word, open the header area of the document. On the Header & Footer Tools Design tab, in the Options group, select the check box for Different First Page. Insert page numbers in the top right corner of your paper and in the top left corner, type Running head: TITLE. This title is abbreviated.
