Embedding a video is quite easy, just be sure that you will have internet access when embedding the video as well as when you give the presentation. 

Start with a new slide in your PowerPoint presentation. Note the 6 images in the middle of the blank slide. Hover over each image and you will see what it does. Look for the image that looks like a film strip, and when you hover over it says: Insert Video. When you click on the image the option to insert a video from YouTube comes up, along with a few other options (insert a video from your computer, or use an embed code if you have one). Search YouTube for a pertinent video, click on it and upload it to your PowerPoint.

Don’t forget to cite you video, both on in-text on the slide that it appears, and on the References slide.
