SWOT analysis is a strategic planning method used to evaluate the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats involved in a project, business, industry, or company.

A situational analysis is conducted to evaluate internal factors, which are strengths and weaknesses, and external factors, which are opportunities and threats. A SWOT Profile is generated as a result of both the internal and external analysis.

See the link for information on how to locate a SWOT analysis.
