When citing a specific definition using a print dictionary:

Entry title. (Year). In B. Editor (Ed.), Name of dictionary (edition, volume).

      Location: Publisher.

 

When citing a specific definition using an online dictionary:

Entry title. (Year). In B. Editor (Ed.), Name of dictionary (edition).  Retrieved today's date, from http://url.com

 

Example:

Heuristic. (n.d.). In Merriam-Webster online dictionary. Retrieved May 13, 2016, from http://www.merriam-

      webster.com/dictionary/heuristic
